Welcome to my blog, you should have arrived here from Jeanette's blog...are you having a great time so far? If you didn't come from Jeanette's blog you should go back to the beginning because you don't want to miss out on all of the fun...plus that's the only way to get all of the letters that you will need for the word scramble that is going on on the cardmaker message board along with more games and AMAZING challenges that you can win prizes just by entering cards that you make!!! Challenges and games will be posted May 16-19, 2012 and you have until May 22, 2012 to get your projects posted to the appropriate thread. If you haven't participated before, don't worry! There are many members and myself that will be around to offer support and encouragement. You can find out all you need to know in the forum. At the end of the hop, will be taken to the crop and I do hope you join in. Collect the letters along the way and unscramble them to entered into the drawing for a prize for one lucky hopper!
The blog hop "theme" goes with the crop title of "Time To Shine". The type of project was left up to the hostesses as long as it is able to be used for a day that someone has their "time to shine". The only criteria the project has to meet is that it has to be able to be used for a day in which someone has their “time to shine”.
They also wanted us to talk a little bit about a day that was my own time to shine...this got me thinking, I could talk about the day that I graduated from college or maybe the day that I married Mark but I decided to talk about the day that I became a mom. I know that people say that nothing prepares you for becoming a parent and to be honest they are completely right. Being a mom has been the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life, Andrew makes me laugh everyday and I love watching him learn new things. He is only 1 and it seems like time is flying, I wish I could keep him little forever. Everyday is something new and I can't wait to see the amazing person he grows into...but not too quickly :)
I created a 4x4 card for this bloghop...I really love mini cards because they are perfect to throw into a giftbag and they help use up scraps :) I used paper from DCWV(Fresh Floral Stack), Gumball Green ink(new in color for 2012-2014) and Mixed Bunch (both from stampin up). Oh and I got my shipment from Stampin Up today and can I tell you how much I LOVE the new inkpads...if you get any I think that you will love them also because they have great coverage for stamps!!! Anyways, here is my card
My letter for the word scramble is "Y"...Now hop over to Anya's blog and enjoy the rest of the hop :)
Oh and here is the list for the bloghop...just in case you get lost
